Happy Valentine's Day, my seastars! Welcome to the cover reveal of SACRIFICE OF GREATEST PRICE, the fourth book in the Between series by author Cyndi Tefft!
The first book, Between, is about a girl who falls in love with a Scottish Grim Reaper when she dies in a car accident (click here to read my review). I highly recommend this paranormal romance series and have been a BIG fan of it since 2011. It's been insanely awesome to see it grow into four books!
The green flames are quite a surprise — the previous two covers have sported orange ones — and combined with the mysterious figure, the cover might just give you chills if you stare at it long enough!Three in one, forward and back
Here and gone, to deepest black
Silver blooms, swollen with child
Birth crimson globes, untethered wild
Life meets death where the sun meets the sea
Blood sacrifice, for you and for me.
It has all come down to this.
A prophecy, passed down through generations of MacRaes, tells of a blood sacrifice. A simple stone placed in an ancient dagger unleashes an army of hell transporters with glowing red eyes who have now come to exact that price.
In the epic finale of the Between series, Aiden and Lindsey will be tested in ways they could never have imagined. Visions of the past, from thousands of years ago when the Broch of Gurness in Orkney was whole, provide more questions than answers. But every secret will be revealed as the MacKinnons and MacRaes join forces to fight a battle they cannot hope to win.
It also goes without saying that I AM POSITIVELY DYING TO READ THIS BOOK after the way Cyndi left us Aiden's Angels hanging in Even In Darkness (Between #3). Two years is a very, very long wait.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Cyndi Tefft lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest where the weather is overcast and rainy, much like the Highlands of Scotland. So she was right at home when she got the chance to visit Eilean Donan Castle.
A self-proclaimed Scot freak, she loved every bit about the trip to Scotland: the people, the kilts, the accents, the fish & chips, the haggis...well okay, not the haggis.

ReplyDeleteYes, it's a pretty shade of green (: And a rather nice change from orange flames, I'll admit!
